As a leading global education company, McGraw Hill’s mission is to partner with educators, learners, and professionals to help them access all the value that education can offer, no matter where their starting points may be.

This short film tells two unique stories from two very different math teachers at Dover High School in rural Dover, Delaware: From their teaching styles, how they use McGraw Hill software and textbooks, and where they see the future of education headed.

Using light, I wanted to convey a “bright future” for each student. Constant motion added kinetic energy and enhancing color to overall classic-looking classrooms was also key. Teacher testimonial “in-the-chair” shots were framed in such a way that student desks in the background focused in on the teachers and ultimately created subtle “hero wings” against their backs.
