Figma is a San Francisco-based software company known for its browser-based design tool, which lets teams create user interfaces and prototypes collaboratively in real time. Its platform has expanded beyond core design work to include tools like FigJam for brainstorming, Figma Slides for presentations, and Dev Mode for handing designs off to developers. After a proposed acquisition by Adobe fell through in 2023, Figma continued operating independently and went public in 2025 with a roadshow that I led.

Knowing they were about to unveil one of the biggest IPO debuts in recent history, they wanted investors to immediately understand how Figma is leading digital transformations through the impact of the platform, the depth of their community ecosystem, and by an expanding product base becoming the system of record for software creation in an accelerating digital economy.

Visuals were critical to make investors understand what the platform does and the ethos behind Figma, including the collaboration, ease, and endless possibilities the brand provides customers to “eliminate the gap between imagination and reality.” Because design is bigger than design.

The video below is a highlight reel of the longer-form film.
